Dear Subscriber

It"s Saturday, August 10,
at

The Wine Cabinet!

Pictured to the right is our friend Mike, the co-owner and cheesemaker for JuMi Cheese of Switzerland! We had a chance to visit with him during our visit and came back with a renewed enthusiasm for their wonderful products! Click on the picture for more information.
We have plenty in the shop!

It looks as though we"ll have a very nice summer weekend! Low humidity, warm temperatures and tasty wines and beers to round out your afternoon.
The kids aren"t back to academic schedules yet and you still have a reasonable amount of flexibility in your schedule.
Come by the shop and sample our wares!

On top of that we"ll be sampling the award-winning soups of Shore Boys of the Eastern Shore (also known as the DelMarVa peninsula). If you can find a better soup anywhere, I"d like to know about it. We"ll have three different soups, crab cakes, pound cake with chocolate whipped honey from the savannah Bee Co. of South Carolina and whatever else Kate decides we should be trying - a veritable picnic in the park!!

Simply exceptional wines and beers at exceptionally affordable prices.

Why should you take a back seat?

Get in on the excitement early.

Come by the shop this afternoon!

Today"s Tasting starts at 1:00.

LABEL STORY: The Rabble labels are renditions of historical wood block prints from the Nuremberg Chronicle (late 1400’s), textured and tactile, depicting nature’s wrath. Nature is ruthless when it goes ignored. This label illustrates the Tempest touching down on Rome. VINEYARD: Mossfire Ranch Planted in 1996 on steep hillsides and a rolling valley at the con?uence of sun, snow and sea.

The Beers!!

Cigar City Jai Alai IPA, 6 pack $12.99
Jai Alai, a game native to the Basque region of Spain, is played on a court called a fronton. Jai Alai players attempt to catch a ball using a curved mitt whilst the ball travels at speeds up to 188 mph! Proving they have a sense of humor the Spanish dubbed this game, with its ball traveling at race car speeds, “the merry game.” Tampa was once home to a bustling Jai Alai fronton but sadly all that remains of Jai Alai in the Tampa Bay area is this India Pale Ale that we brew in tribute to the merry game. The India Pale Ale style of beer has its roots in the ales sent from England to thirsty British troops in India during the 18th century. Pair Jai Alai India Pale Ale with beef empanadas, deviled crabs and other spicy dishes.?

Bronx Brewery "Now Youse Can"t Leave" IPA, 4 pack $14.99
A massive double IPA you won"t walk away from.
This big, double IPA delivers massive fruit hop flavor & aromas balanced by a solid malt character.
Once you bust it open, you won"t be able to walk away from this brew.

Lickinghole Creek Black Forest Witch Stout, 25 oz. $19.99
This Imperial Chocolate Stout was laid to rest in French Cognac Barrels which imparted deep notes of oak, stone fruit and cocoa powder. We then en-robed this bold barreled aged stout with pounds of coco nibs, fresh vanilla and sour cherries to give the appeal of biting into a dense yet moist piece of Black Forrest cake.
Take a sip of what this witch has been brewing in her cauldron.
