We have over 100 years of experience pairing wine and food.
Our friendly Certified Professionals (W.S.E.T., Court of Master Sommeliers) help and guide you to the perfect selection that meets your budget.
No one tells us what to present to you! There is no one sitting in an office building cubicle telling us what to sell to you. We taste every new wine and new vintage before we decide if it’s worthy of shelf space here at The Wine Cabinet! (Yes it’s a tough job….)
We are well traveled. (That is not a euphuism for old!) Having been to all the major wine growing regions in the world has given us knowledge, understanding and a perspective that big box store staff will never comprehend.
Locally owned and operated, we live right here! 95% of our staff live within three miles of the shop. As your neighbors we take a special interest in you and the food and wine scene that Northern Virginia has to offer.
