The Masters

A Tradition unlike any other.
The Masters Tournament is one of the four major championships in professional golf.
Scheduled for the first full week of April, the Masters is the first major of the year, and unlike the others, it is always held at the same location, Augusta National Golf Club - founded, designed and built by the legendary Bobby Jones - a private course in the southeastern United States, in the city of Augusta, Georgia.

This year"s tournament ( pronounced "tunamint" by any local Augustan) is being help now in November instead the usual second weekend in April that all 83 previous events have been held thanks to our friendly local virus.
The time of year has affected the azaleas, but not the quality of the golf.

Five are currently tied for the lead at 9 under par, while an additional 14 are within three strokes.
Heavy rains made the greens wet and soft and open to shots directly at the flagsticks.
That will not be the case for the last two rounds.
With steady breezes and bright sunshine the course is becoming its usual nightmare on the greens.
