The Wines!!
Pierre Olivier, Brut, Vin Mousseux
Produced from one of the world"s most planted wine grapes that few people have heard of, the Pierre Olivier Brut Vin Mousseux is lovely semi-dry sparkling brut, made with Airen grapes from around the French/Spanish border (next to the Pyrenees).

Reverdy Sancerre Blanc 2017
Domaine Reverdy dates back to 1650 and has been in the family for 10 generations.  This Sancerre is very "terroir" driven with fruit sourced from three different soil types (Caillottes, Grosses Terres, and Silex).  The wine is young and fresh with an aromatic nose and peach, watermelon, and citrus zest on the palate.  Pairs well with seafood, fish, and goat cheese or on its own.

Charles Thomas Sainte Victoire Cotes de Provence Rose" 2016
Sainte Victoire is a sub-region of the Cotes de Provence appellation named after the Montagne Sainte-Victoire which is a prominent feature of the Provence landscape.  In true Provençal style, the wine is bright with fresh strawberry and raspberry notes, but is fermented dry.  Unoaked.  50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 20% Cinsault.  It"s a natural match to enjoy with salad, chicken, grilled salmon, or by itself.

Domaine Manoir du Carra Julienas 2016

91 Points Antonio Galloni"s Vinous
Some of the finest and most age-worthy expressions of the Gamay grape come not from the fresh and fruity Beaujolais Nouveau, but from the hilly "cru" regions of the north.  This wine exhibits a red plum and cranberry-scented bouquet that is nicely defined.  Very fresh, with supple tannins and a purity of fruit.   Pair it with game, poultry, and cheese.

Grand Veneur Cotes du Rhone Rouge 2016

Grenache Noir, 35% Syrah and 5% Cinsault
Established in the northern part of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the Jaume family has been making wine since 1826 when Mathieu Jaume started harvesting grapes. Since 1979, Alain Jaume has run the Domaine, now with the help of his two sons, Sébastien and Christophe, and daughter Helene.  The bouquet of aromas offer fresh berries (wild raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry) and hints of spices. The palate is big and full-flavored, with silky-smooth tannins and red and black fruit flavors.
The finish introduces touches of liquorice and pepper.

Alaine Jaume Vacqueyras Grand Garrigue 2015

91 Points The Wine Enthusiast; 91 Points The Wine Advocate
The Vacqueyras appellation is located right next to Gigondas. It mostly stretches on the Sarrians territory, where stands the famous plateau named “Les Garrigues”. The area is made of clay and rocks. The beautiful “garrigue” landscape is typical of the Mediterranean area. The wine itself displays aromas and flavors of spices, dried herbs, and ripe black fruits.  65% Grenache Noir, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre and 5% Old vines Cinsault.

The Beers!!

Sixpoint Sweet Action, Brooklyn 6 pack $12.99
5.0% ABV, 40 IBU
SRM“Ever heard of Sweet Action…the magazine?”
That short-lived sensation sparked one of our first collaborations—the beer you hold in your hand. Our quest to classify SWEET ACTION has ended; it’s a beer your brain can’t categorize, but instead speaks directly to your palate. Our senses and intuition sometimes conquer rational thought. It’s Mad Science.
If you traced from 2004, you’d see that SWEET ACTION is a representation of our palates at any given point in time… it’s a vibe more so than it was ever one distinct formulation. This version, a juicy, blonde wheat ale, is the latest iteration in that story.
The first brew was for a friend’s party. In three separate phone calls, she requested three different beers. First it was a wheat beer. Then it was a lager because her dad loved ‘em. Then she wanted a pale ale. So we put them all together and fermented it out with a Belgian yeast to 7.2% ABV. It was a super spicy brew with tons of biscuit malt, aromatic malts, and some bitter, dank American hops. This all took place in Madison, Wisconsin. Then came the infamous photo shoot. A chance encounter in 2004 in Red Hook, BKLYN, led this beer to be served at a launch party for a short lived local magazine. The thing finally had a true namesake, after the magazine: SWEET ACTION.
That might leave you wondering, what exactly is SWEET ACTION? Well, sometimes knowing isn’t everything.
Sink one… your palate just gets it.

Sixpoint Meltdown IPA, Brooklyn, 6 pack $13.99

7.8% ABV , 30 IBU
A lush, hazy, juicy IIPA with ripe tropical and bright citrus characteristics, and a soft, easy finish.
Loaded up with enough dry-hops to melt your face.
Finally, a MELTDOWN that isn’t global. We’re talking about what’s going on in the hop cone—tons of Mosaic and Mandarina hops heated until the solid lupulin sap is diffused into solution. As that liquid sap dissolves it gets more intense, but you can’t even see it happen. It changes states of matter to change your state of mind. Finally, you reach saturation and haze starts to show. Your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you… that’s seriously pure hop juice oozing out of the can. Enough to melt your face!

Bell"s Cherry Stout, Michigan $18.99

7.0% ABV
Tinted ruby-black, Cherry Stout gains its signature tartness from 100% Montmorency cherries grown in Michigan"s Traverse City region.
Rather than doubling up on sweetness, this tart cherry varietal serves as a counterpoint to the warm, dark chocolate notes from the malt bill. Lightly hopped for balance, this stout is one of the cornerstones of our stout portfolio
